Al-Ahly flies to Tunisia today to face the Union of Monastir in the Champions League

The Al-Ahly club’s football team will leave Cairo today, Thursday, on its way to Tunisia to face Ittihad Monastir next Sunday in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.

The mission is headed by Amri Farouk, vice president of the club, and Al-Ahly is scheduled to participate in 3 training sessions in Tunisia before the upcoming meeting, which will be held at three in the afternoon, Tunis time, four in Cairo time, which is the first meeting of the Red Genie in the new season, while the return match will be held in Cairo on October 15, with a large percentage. The team will then start the new season of the Egyptian League and then meet with Zamalek on October 28 in the local super in the Emirates.

Al-Ahly prepared for the new season through daily training at the touch and in the club’s branch in Nasr City, and playing 3 friendly matches at Al-Ahly and Al-Salam Stadium against Petrojet, Aswan and Talaa Al-Jaish, where it won the first and second (5-1) and (2-1) respectively, and a 0-0 draw in the third.
